Wilson’s Pride is a landmark release—distilled and aged in Canada from 100% Mexican Agave. 33% of the blend matured for 5 months in Sauvignon Blanc barrels followed by 15 months in re-charred Char 3 casks, while the remaining 66% rested for 20 months in once-used bourbon barrels. We bought the entire run to share it directly with our community at a fair price. Batch 2 is perfect for cocktails, and at 40% ABV is slightly sweeter than batch 1.

  • Cask Profile: 33% Sauvignon Blanc & Char 3 Wood, 66% Ex-Bourbon Wood.
  • Strength: 40% ABV - Cask Strength
  • Volume: 750ml
  • Sourcing: Distilled and aged on Canadian soil from 100% Mexican Agave.
 
We may, in fact, have another Canadian first on our hands. An independently bottled Canadian-made Agave spirit. It would be called tequila if it were bottled in certain Mexican provinces. We think our tasting notes and the following this Wilson’s has speaks for itself.

    The Nose

    Rich - Creamy

    Brown sugar, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla

    The Palate

    Caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, dried cherry, wild honey and chocolate cake, toasted coconut

    The Finish

    More-ish

    Sourdough crusts, with lingering cinnamon and a hint of orange creamsicle and toasted coconut
