Spooney’s 1:49th Canadian Blend is a whisky for the moment, made for everyone, enthusiasts and beginners alike. Sitting at a robust 50% ABV, this limited-release blend shows Canada's old southern partners that the 49th parallel will always stand as a dividing line between our two countries. The blend is approachable and easy drinking. With only 60 bottles available in Batch 1, this is an exclusive experience that won’t come around until Batch 2.
 
Cask & Liquid Specifications
  • Blend Component: 98% of the blend comes from a Macaloney’s mix of malted and unmalted barley, aged in an ex-rye bourbon barrel.
  • Blend Component: 2% is a column-distilled rye from North West Pure Distillery, aged in a Kentucky bourbon barrel for three years then resting in a once-used Brazilian Amburana barrel with a medium toast, and then spending four final months in a Jamaican rum barrel.
  • Strength: 50% ABV
  • Volume: 750ml

    The Nose

    Rich - Creamy

    Brown sugar, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla
